Ad Ops Topics: Devices

A device is used for computing either at home or traveling, is generally more portable than a desktop personal computer or a laptop computer and tends to have more limited, specific-use functionality. Device web and application advertising is becoming more of a viable revenue stream and is a subset of online and mobile advertising. This refers to advertising on devices such as the iPad, e-Readers, tablets and other small computing devices and can also include Blackberry, Droid, iPhone and other smart phones that have mobile web and application capabilities.
