The news that the World Wide Web Consortium is set to christen HTML5 as a standard in 2014, has many publishers pondering what an HTML-5-driven responsive design system will do for their sites – and whether it will completely upend their site monetization practices. Following the publishers’ embrace of a responsive content management system in 2012, representatives from IDG – publisher of Macworld, PC World and upstart Techhive – will detail the integration process and the challenges and advantages with on-site advertising.
