Bringing exclusive insights to the AdMonsters Publisher Forum, Boris Kurschinski will present a view from the buyside, unveiling the trends and signals we see in the DoubleClick programmatic buying platform. 

David McMurtrie will present alongside Boris, answering some of the key questions we hear from our clients. What can publishers learn from buyers and how can this help inform sellside strategies? 

How can the buyside and sellside work better together to generate increased performance, whether ROI for advertisers or revenue for publishers? What are the most common roadblocks to satisfying agency demand and how do publishers stand out and differentiate themselves in an increasingly crowded marketplace?

Boris Kurschinski is Head of DoubleClick Buyer Development in DACH. Boris' job is to ensure that as many high-quality and high-reach buyers participate in the Ad Exchange auction as possible. Thanks to this role, Boris has a unique view on the development of RTB in Northern Europe. 

 


David McMurtie
Head of Publishers – Partner Business Solutions
Google, UK

David has extensive experience in the media and advertising industry. His background combines both traditional and digital media, and he has been involved in the digital media industry since 1999 with 24/7 Real Media in the UK and was one of the founders of digital sales company, AD2ONE.

Previousy, in his role as International Media Director at MediaCom, he was responsible for the strategic planning, management, and co-ordination of clients including Nokia, Emirates, BP, and P&G at Europe's largest media network.

At Google, David's role has included responsibility for launching DoubleClick's Optimisation and Targeting products across Europe. Currently, as Head of Publishers for Partner Business Solutions, David leads a team focused on delivering first class technology and monetisation solutions to a large Publisher client base.

Outside of work, David has run nine marathons, trekked to Everest Base Camp, and most recently trekked through the rainforest in Costa Rica.
