While ad exchanges have been around for a while, there is renewed interest as agencies are buying or building their own exchanges and Google has entered the field as well. This session will give an overview of the ad exchange market, their position in the market and best practices for working with them.

 

Dirk Fiebig, Director of Ad Operations, AdJug

Dirk Fiebig is Director of Ad Operations at AdJug- The Online Advertising Exchange. On a day to day basis he manages and mentors his Ad Ops Teams in London, Munich and Bangalore and is also responsible for R&D, roadmap and specification of AdJug’s Ad Exchange and Ad Management Technologies. He acts as the technical representative of the company.

Dirk has covered 360 degrees of all things Online Ad Operation. Over 10 years ago he started as Trafficker for The Walt Disney Internet Group and has since worked for and with a variety of ad serving technologies, digital agencies, traffic providers, workflow systems and ad networks. Over these years he specialized in display ad serving and workflow & process management for business generating revenue from online advertising incl. many blue chip online publisher, broadcasters and national newspapers. Dirk currently focuses on user segmentation methods and linear vs. nonlinear optimization logics.
