Half Group Session B: Preventing Third Party Code Overload

About the Session

An increasing number of third parties want to place code on publishers’ sites. This code impacts site speed and requires monitoring and maintains. This session will outline management strategies and discuss some alternative solutions for addressing all of this code.

 

About the Speaker

Oleg started his career in 1998 at DoubleClick as part of the DART support team to manage successful implementations and ongoing support across hundreds of websites. Later joining Right Media where he worked with product development and engineering groups to build and eventually launch the original Ad Exchange across multiple ad networks and publishers.

After spending close to six years working for ad technology and ad network companies, Oleg decided to move to the publisher side of the business and have a chance to see how multiple technologies are managed and leveraged together. At that time Oleg moved to Community Connect Inc, one of the first social networking companies, to run the AdOps group. In this role Oleg oversaw ad server implementations, managed ad network yield across multiple websites, as well as insured delivery and performance of internal sales efforts.

Oleg is currently managing the Revenue Operations group supporting Hachette Filipacchi Media US and JumpStart Automotive Media. Responsible for pre and post sales premium account management, inventory and analytics, advertising technology, billing, audience extension and management, and 3rd party revenue generation.
