The online advertising marketplace is increasingly driven by the usage of user data. This session will outline one company’s strategy for both buying and selling data and share some lessons learned and ideas for building for the future.

About the Speaker

Director, Ad Operations & Metrics

Eric Meixner is the Director of Ad Operations and User Metrics at WhitePages, Inc. a Top 50 website based in Seattle. He has been in the online advertising space for more than 11 years in a variety of roles that includes Software Engineer, Business Analyst, and Ad Operations Manager. Before WhitePages, Eric was a Lead Software Engineer at Walt Disney Internet Group developing their in-house ad server technology. Eric began his career at Goldman Sachs as a Mortgage Backed Securities programmer/analyst, where he was one of the youngest Vice Presidents ever.  He holds a MS in Physics from Michigan State University and a BS in Physics from Johns Hopkins University.
