Preparing a Mobile Strategy

This session will cover the trends in mobile display advertising and how to create a strategy to not only keep up with an ever changing environment, but to take advantage of how mobile can ‘reset’ some of the ways we do operations.

 

 

About the Speakers

 John Gomez got his start in Ad Operations in 2000 at GamePro Magazine, part of IDG, as their Manager of Ad Operations.  In 2005 John moved to GameDaily, an online gaming information company, to be their Director of Ad Operations.  In 2006 GameDaily was acquired by AOL so John wound up getting a job at CNBC (Part of NBC Universal) where he has served as their Director of Digital Ad Operations for the past 5 years.  John served in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1990 as a journalist in Guantanamo Bay Cuba and aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.  He attended California State University East Bay with studies in Mass Communication.  John and his wife Robin have been married 20 years and have three children, Ben 17, Alex 15 and Tori 13.

Bryan Moffett is Vice President of Digital Strategy and Sponsorship Operations at National Public Media. In this position, Moffett is responsible for managing the digital sponsorship business for NPR and PBS, as well as a suite of digital advertising services for the public media system, including an ad network of 50+ public media and non-profit journalism web sites.
