Emry DowningHall is the Director of Growth and Yield Operations at StudyBreak Media, a collection of education-focused websites reaching over 85% of the students in the U.S. Emry specializes in maximizing the value of non-directly sold inventory while also preserving the user experience. He teaches an intro to digital advertising and yield optimization course at General Assembly and was the first full-time hire at Imagine Easy Solutions.
Vice President of Ad Operations and Programmatic Strategy
Stephanie Layser has been managing the ad tech business at publishers for the last five years. She is currently the VP of Ad Operations and Programmatic Strategy at APlus.com, Ashton Kutcher’s social content media start-up. Prior to that, she consulted for the programmatic business at a variety of publishers, where she built programmatic strategies, made tech stack recommendations, administered analytics trainings and taught yield management best practices. Prior to consulting, she managed programmatic at the Daily Mail and the New York Post. She is a graduate of the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University.
Senior Vice President, Monetization Platform
Qasim Saifee is Senior Vice President, Monetization Platform, overseeing OpenX’s global real-time bidding exchange and supply side platform businesses. From 2005 to 2008, Qasim was at Yahoo!, most recently as Senior Director of the Advertiser Marketplaces Group, providing strategic guidance and analytical support to drive operational decisions for the Advertiser Marketplaces. Previously at Yahoo!, Qasim was Director of Display Marketplaces. Prior to Yahoo!, Qasim was a consultant at Bain & Company, Inc. Before that, he was a senior analyst in the Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development group at The Walt Disney Company, where he researched, planned and executed new business initiatives and major transactions. Qasim earned his B.S. from Stanford University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
