About the Technical Forum

AdMonsters technical forums offer an opportunity for our members to collaborate on a specifc area of online advertising operations by performing a ‘deep dive’ around the various aspects, challenges, and opportunities offered by a particular piece of technology. The sessions and workshops will be led by the attending members–those who face these issues day in and day out–and will focus on defining real life solutions to the immediate challenges faced in day to day operations. These forums are directly driven by member demand and reflect the current state of the industry. They offer an unparalled opportunity for ad operations leaders to work together to find solutions that will help drive the industry forward.

So-called behavioural targeting tantilizingly promises to help solve the old issue of “I know 50% of my marketing dollars work, I just don’t know which 50%.” However, the path to this potential boon for marketers is fraught with challenges. Some of these inlcude issues around privacy and data protection, reporting, technical implementation, classification of behaviour vectors, and system integration. Our technical forum will strive to prioritize these issues and determine critical next steps to leverage this technology.

Sponsorship

The AdMonsters Behavioural Targeting Technical Forum is generously supported by RevenueScience. Revenue Science offer the most powerful and flexible targeting platform for digital media worldwide, and has been connecting advertisers with engaged audiences on the Web since 2000. Their leading behavioral targeting platform collects and measures people?s interests and intent through their Web behaviors?the sites they visit, the articles they read, the searches they make, and much more. This non-personally identifiable information is parsed and stored in massive data warehouses. RevenueScience then segment these people into qualified audiences that can be reached anywhere online.
