AdMonsters extends its unique focus on ad operations and technology with OPS, a new one-day event co-produced with OVK BVDW embracing the entire German online advertising community. OPS will take place on November 23 in Hamburg and is open to agencies, marketing and sales houses, networks, publishers and technology providers seeking to maximize profitability through operational excellence.

Business leaders know that operations is the competitive differentiator. The operational systems behind online advertising are becoming the backbone of the entire media industry. While business managers know that operations is the key to profitability, many of those same managers do not understand the key issues in operations.

OPS opens the door on ad operations to all the major players in the German market!

OPS will deliver a platform for dialogue between the major players in the German market. Attendees can expect to leave with a deeper understanding of the critical technologies, tools, methods and practices that can turn online ad operations into a source of greater profit.

Full conference fee €450 (EUR)

The price will increase as the event approaches, so register now to lock in the best rate. The pricing schedule is as follows:

  • Until June 15, 2010: USD $160 (approx EUR €125)
  • Until Sept 1, 2010: USD $310 (approx €250)
  • Until Nov 1, 2010: USD $440 (approx EUR €350)
  • After Nov 1, 2010: USD $570 (approx EUR €450)

Please note: The event fee will be billed in USD as stated above and any other currency will be subject to the current exchange rate at the time of payment.

Due to exceptional demand, attendance will be limited to two people per company. Space for a third attendee may open up in the future but we can only approve two for now.

What to expect

The OPS agenda will be focused on specific operational and technical challenges in ad operations and technology and the solutions to these challenges. The day will range from full group sessions to smaller, more topically focused discussions hosted by leaders in the field.

OPS will take place on Tuesday November 23, 2010 in Hamburg. The day will begin with a continental breakfast at 8 AM. The conference sessions will run from 9 AM until 5:30 PM followed by dinner.

Topic: Accelerating Market Growth by Standardization


Arne Wolter, 35, has been G+J EMS Executive Board Spokesperson since April 1, 2007 and CEO of Ligatus GmbH since October 1, 2008.

Arne Wolter successfully completed his degree course at Braunschweig Technical University as a graduate Industrial Engineer and also obtained an MBA at the University of Rhode Island, USA.

Following his first position as Assistant to the Executive Board of G+J EMS and then as Assistant to the Multimedia Director at Gruner + Jahr, he moved in 2002 to arvato mobile, where he developed B2B operations. This work included not only the setting-up of international cooperation with major mobile-telephone service providers but also the development of products for content and service providers in the sector of mobile entertainment. As Vice President B2B and a member of the Executive Board, Wolter was last responsible for the whole of that field of operations. In 2007 he moved back to his first employer G+J EMS as CEO.
