Responsibilities
The Digital Ad Solutions group at NBCUniversal manages product development and integration for various ad platforms across the Digital Ad Sales organization including, but not limited to: Freewheel, DFP, Programmatic. This group assesses new and current technologies that help drive revenue, process efficiencies and data management.

We are seeking candidates with a passion for technology who thrive in fast pace environments. Folks with digital product development and/or project management backgrounds tend to be most successful. However, since the nature of our work deals with advertising, candidates with digital traffic or campaign operations experience are an ideal fit as we need people who understand the process and systems side of launching campaigns that live across various web properties i.e. banner, display, mobile and video.

About the role:
This role will lead cross functional teams in the development of video ad products and enhancements with an emphasis on data gathering, consultation, documentation and managing product requirements. The individual in this role will work with site and development teams to integrate FreeWheel.

FreeWheel experience is a HUGE plus. However, we are open to candidates with similar digital video ad serving solutions experience.

Responsibilities:

•Define and manage product requirements and functional specifications that articulate current and future business objectives for new ad products or major enhancements to existing ad products

•Effectively communicate tech requirements, release date/schedule and write product documentation

•Lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including engineers, marketing, business development, customer service and partners to plan and launch projects on time, on budget and on spec

•Act as in-house consultant on all video web technologies for Digital Sales team

•Create ad products to enhance video ad targeting/trafficking on new and existing web sites

•Ensure the quality of the product by working with QA to develop use cases, review test cases, and track feature bugs

•Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of products.

•Identify and champion opportunities to build and leverage best practices across various teams.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

•2-4 years technology experience with ad serving technology and operations, including VAST and VPAID, as well as Adobe Flash, HTML5, and other rich media technologies

•Knowledge of ad serving standards such as VAST, VPAID, VMAP, MRAID.

•Experience developing digital video ad-related products

•Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results

•Strong organizational and leadership skills

•Must be able to work effectively with business and technical people at all levels including senior management

•Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Excellent customer service skills

•Vendor management experience

•Attention to detail is critical

•Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
