The Digital Ad Solutions group at NBCUniversal manages product development and integration for various ad platforms across the Digital Ad Sales organization including, but not limited to: Freewheel, DFP, Programmatic. This group assesses new and current technologies that help drive revenue, process efficiencies and data management.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for technology who thrive in fast pace environments. Folks with digital product development and/or project management backgrounds tend to be most successful. However, since the nature of our work deals with advertising, candidates with digital traffic or campaign operations experience are an ideal fit as we need people who understand the process and systems side of launching campaigns that live across various web properties i.e. banner, display, mobile and video.

About the role:
This role will specialize in managing a team of Platform Specialists tasked with video ad server expansions regarding capabilities and boundaries of NBCU’s FreeWheel MRM platform.
The individual in this role will serve as the expert in all video ad capabilities and opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the online advertising industry with a strong focus on digital video and industry initiatives such as TV Everywhere, content monetization, and video syndication.
•Oversee the team’s delivery on the full lifecycle of NBCU projects and initiatives, including conceptualization, design, implementation, and QA.
•Define and manage product requirements and functional specifications that articulate current and future business objectives for new ad products or major enhancements to existing ad products.
•Regularly communicate progress, status, issues, and resolutions to key stakeholders and senior management via verbal and written status reports
•Lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including engineers, marketing, business development, customer service and partners to plan and launch projects on time, on budget and on spec
•Participate in the development of the video product roadmaps across all NBCU properties.

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
•4-6 years digital advertising experience in a product development and/or project management role.
•Experience developing and rolling out digital video ad-related products with Freewheel MRM, or similar Ad Decision System
•Knowledge of ad serving specs such as VAST, VPAID, VMAP, MRAID.
•Experience managing a team of 5+ members
•Ability to translate technical concepts into detailed functional requirements
•Vendor management experience
•Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment
•Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results
•Must be able to work effectively with business and technical people at all levels including senior management
•Strong organizational and leadership skills
•Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
