Analyst, Digital Reporting


The Digital Reporting Business Analyst will play a multi-faceted role that will help to deliver highly visible business value through a suite of operational and analytical reports. The role requires significant digital domain expertise where he/she can form strong relationships with the NBCU Digital business teams and drive forward any projects/enhancements that impact this suite. He/she will be the primary lead driving collaboration and consensus amongst our NBCU digital business teams, internal project team members, and developers.


  • Deliver projects and enhancements that impact the reporting suite, goal being to ensure full continuity and stability in the data
  • Ability to learn and understand how NBCU’s applications are used to effectively manage the reporting suite and proactively adjust where business needs need to be accommodated
  • Document gap analyses where changes are needed and work quickly/efficiently with business stakeholders to finalize/sign-off 
  • Translate business reporting needs and into detailed reporting requirements and functional specifications
  • Work closely with internal BI team and source system development teams to establish a timeline, provide guidance on the development effort, unit test new solutions, and drive the testing and user acceptance with the business teams

  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in digital advertising operations/inventory management
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce, Operative One, DART Sales Manager, DoubleClick DFP-Premium, and Freewheel
  • Experience working with front end reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Business Objects, etc. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with ability establish/maintain strong relationships with NBCU Digital business teams, project team members, and development teams

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Minimum of 2-4 years managing staff – nice to have when collaborating with multiple groups
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel and Powerpoint
