Who are the ad operations and technology professionals that have stood out to you this year? What has been the most creative campaign your colleagues have worked on? What (or which) ad ops teams have displayed innovation and teamwork over the past 12 months? It’s your turn to decide and recognize your fellow colleagues within the digital media advertising industry by entering the AdMonsters Awards.

The AdMonsters Awards celebrates the Tops in Ops, and is open to individuals and teams at publishers, brands and agencies. Entry deadline is September 15, it is free to enter, and winners will be recognized in December 2015.

Who Should Enter?

The AdMonsters Awards are open to ad operations and technology individuals and teams at publishing companies, brands and agencies. Vendors and technology suppliers are also able to make nominations, but nominations can only be made for individuals and teams from publishing companies, brands and agencies.

How to Enter

You can enter for FREE online. You can nominate yourself or your colleagues. Nominations must be submitted by September 15, and include the following:

  • The nominee’s name
  • The nominee’s position (title and organization)
  • The nominee’s contact information
  • Your name and contact information so that we may follow up with questions during the judging process
  • Your professional relationship with the nominee (you can self-nominate)
  • A brief synopsis on why this individual or team should be awarded the AdMonsters Award
  • At least 2 concrete examples of the individual’s or team’s stellar achievements over the past 12 months (specific campaigns, programs, innovations–proof that this person or team shines!)
  • A sample of their work and/or supporting materials (webpages, graphics/artwork, testimonials)

Team Categories These categories honor the ad ops team as a whole. Whether it was working together as a unit, or bringing new knowledge to the industry, these categories will honor the teams behind the scenes.
OPS is Community Team of the Year Recognizing a team for sharing their knowledge with the industry to make everyone’s jobs easier. In a role where things are continually changing, some team’s take it upon themselves to share their understanding with others and help move the industry forward.
OPS is Teamwork Celebrating an advertising operations team that banded together to overcome a challenge with flying colors. Whether it was the ad server migration from hell or an event that required people to go above and beyond, the team pushed through and delivered.
Individual Categories Ad operations doesn’t just magically happen, so these categories are to honor the individuals that work tirelessly to make the process appear seemless.
OPS is a Team Player Celebrating an advertising operations individual who went beyond the call of duty to help their team in their moment of need. Whether it was during an ad server migration from hell or an event that required people to go above and beyond, this individual pushed through and delivered.
OPS is Community Individual of the Year Recognizing an individual for sharing their knowledge with the industry to make everyone’s jobs easier. In a role where things are continually changing, some people take it upon themselves to share their understanding with others and help move the industry forward.
OPS Leader of the Year Award An individual who leads by example in the field of ad operations.
The Rising Star For an up-and-comer in the ad operations field who has demonstrated amazing potential.
Campaign Categories Technology and needs are ever changing within ad operations. These categories will represent the best of the best in innovative campaigns, procedures and products that keep the field of ad operations advancing.
“Never Been Done Before” Campaign – Individual For an ad operations individual that delivered on an ad campaign something they had never done before (or no one has done before).
“Never Been Done Before” Campaign – Team For an ad operations team that delivered on an ad campaign something they had never done before (or no one has done before).
OPS Makes Stuff Individual Recognizing an ops individual that brought a new product to market. The recipient will be an example of someone who took an idea and launched it with great success.
OPS Makes Stuff Team For an ops or product team that brought a new product to market. The recipient will be an example of a team that took an idea and launched it with great success.
OPS is Innovation Individual of the Year Honoring an advertising operations individual that brought something new to the table. Operations has a unique opportunity to not only come up with new ideas but to implement them. Such innovative ideas can not only benefit the company but the industry as a whole.

How are entries judged?

Entries are judged by a blue-chip panel of industry experts, as well as by the staff of AdMonsters. We evaluate your entry based upon creativity, innovating, sound planning, implementation and results. Our most important criterion is proven success that aligns with your end goals.

Who is eligible to win an award?

Any ad operations or technology individual or team from a publishing company, brand or agency is eligible to win the AdMonsters Awards. Vendors and technology suppliers are eligible to nominate individuals or teams that fit the same criteria.

How do I increase my chances of winning an award?

Emphasize the nominee’s goals, as well as achievements in your synopsis. Provide as many concrete and specfic examples of success as possible, and explain clearly and succinctly the things your nominee has accomplished.
