Biography: 

Chief Scientist Neal Richter, PhD, oversees the ad serving, auction and optimization algorithms at the Rubicon Project. He joined the Rubicon Project in 2009 via the acquisition of OthersOnline, an audience optimization company. He has 15 years of industry experience implementing software ranging from data mining algorithms, self-learning search engines, web serving at scale to low level hardware drivers. Neal grew up in a log cabin in Montana and has a PhD in Computer Science from Montana State University.
