Melissa Bertram serves as vice president of advertising operations for Kelley Blue Book. In this position, she oversees all aspects of Kelley Blue Book digital advertising operations on the company’s top-rated consumer website, www.kbb.com. Bertram is responsible for inventory management, trafficking and campaign monitoring for every advertising placement on Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com. In addition, she also oversees product development support, issue resolution, solution evaluation, and vendor management and administration.
Since joining the Kelley Blue Book team, Bertram has led the effort to formalize the company’s advertising operations processes and policies to create best practices for Kelley Blue Book. She also assisted in contracting multiple systems and vendors to make digital operations more efficient and less costly for Kelley Blue Book. Furthermore, she helped build Kelley Blue Book’s advertising operations team from two traffickers to almost 30 advertising operations professionals.
Bertram joined Kelley Blue Book in 1994 in software, over the years being responsible for support, product development and quality assurance, before holding her current role.
Bertram holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in computer information systems from Eastern Michigan University.
