Ladies and gentlemen, I am looking for recommendations on the best mobile ad server out there – both for WAP and app. Excellent technical customer service is a must. Thanks!

Hi Ruth,
My name is John from MoPub, we built an ad server for mobile publishers that is focused on ensuring that direct sold campaigns start on time, end on time, pace evenly, and deliver in full. The system is also MRAID compliant and works well in iOS, Android, and Mobile Web environments. We have a strong account management and support team on staff, located in San Francisco and New York.

Our office is around the corner here in San Francisco; we would be happy to give you a walk-through to see if our system would met your needs.

The best way to connect is email: jegan@mopub.com

As a side note, in my last role I had to answer the exact same question as you. I found there was quite a bit of variability among the offerings, depending on primary use case. For example some platforms put more emphasis on managing remnant inventory, where others are almost exclusively focused on direct sold campaigns. If you have a detailed example of your expected day-to-day usage, I'd encourage you to ask for a walk-through of that DTD in the platform you are evaluating. That was the most effective method of determining which system to implement.

(Spoiler alert - the winner for our evaluation ended up being MoPub)

John

Hi Ruth,

I'm Cornelia from Mocean Mobile - we are an independent mobile ad server and amongst our clients are Microsoft, Skype, Nokia, NBC, Time Warner and many more. More than happy to have a more detailed discussion about your requirements and how we can help you!

Please contact me on creitinger@moceanmobile.com

Look forward to hearing from you!

Cornelia

Hi Ruth,

Have a look at the cXense (www.cxense.com) mobile ad server which supports display and performance-based ads, for both mobile web and in-app advertising.

This means that you can, for example, offer performance-based (CPC) ad listings for properties or rentals, in addition to CPM banner ads for other types of advertisements. The ad server also offers an optional self-service UI for advertisers to book campaigns.

I believe they also have support both on US East and West Coast.

Hope this helps. Reach out if you want more info.
