Manager of Video Ad Products

The Manager of Video Ad Products will perform full suite of testing and troubleshooting new digital advertising products across platforms, devices and points of distribution for web, mobile web, mobile apps
Monitor and track all elements of the digital product and ad serving technology stack for updates/releases to review and test as needed prior to updates/releases. This primarily applies to video player, video ad servers, 2nd channel partners. Track any ad serving issues that arise and work with internal and external key stakeholders to resolve as quickly as possible.
Maintain ad slots and ad products within the order management system (Operative One) to ensure ad products are properly represented and configured optimally with appropriate ad server
Manage the full scope of video related projects and initiatives, including conceptualization, design, implementation, and QA
Directly support and manage communication and workflow processes with external and internal teams as needed to enable monetization of NBC content
Gather and document requirements from internal and external clients
Implement new inventory, updates or enhancements needed by OTS stations (new ad units, video groups, commercial break patterns, user experience caps, restrictions, inventory share, user accounts, etc.)
Additional projects as required by management

Qualifications/Requirements
3+ years ad technology experience with proven history of increasing responsibility and scope
Experience working with Freewheel and Operative, or similar Ad Decision System and Order Management System
Strong understanding of online video advertisements and ad serving required. Familiarity with behavioral or contextual ad serving a plus.
Vendor management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel

Desired Experience/Qualifications
XML, JavaScript, HTML5 and other Code based expertise
Knowledge of ad serving specs such as VAST, VPAID, VMAP, MRAID.
Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results
Strong project management and outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
Proven ability to track multiple dynamic deliverables while communicating to multiple stakeholders with varying degrees of understanding and interest
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent track record launching new products from inception to market
Ability to translate business and technical requirements in order to communicate to appropriate stakeholders
Experience with TV, Video on Demand, Wireless or Online products and/or distribution
Rich numerical and analytical skill set
Passionate about media and technology
