Akamai is looking to hire a Yield Management Analyst and a Campaign Manager. You will be joining acerno, part of Akamai’s Advertising Decision Solutions team - a new division focused on bringing to market a set of behavioral targeting products for the online advertising space. These solutions enable more precise, scalable, and efficient online advertising. You will be working with the largest Publishers, Advertisers, and Ad Networks on the Internet today.
The Yield Management Analyst will join a team of analysts that are responsible for supporting the Director of Advertising Operations in maximizing the ROI of acerno’s behavioral targeting campaigns. Your main goal will be to conduct analytical efforts designed to maximize the yield of acerno’s behavioral campaigns while driving scalable results for our clients. Specific responsibilities will include performing campaign optimization, inventory allocation and pricing controls.
Basic Qualifications* Education: BA / BS degree in business (finance or marketing) or mathematics preferred* Overall Experience: 4+ years of work experience, with background in online media and track record of effective quantitative analysisDesired Qualifications* Proven success interpreting analyses into actionable recommendations* Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other data modeling tools* Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, the desire to be challenged and be innovative* Must be able to communicate clearly to varying audiences and to collaborate actively with others in cross-functional teams
The Campaign Manager is responsible for trafficking new and existing campaigns and confirming that the campaign is running per delivery and margin goals for that particular client. This position involves heavy interaction with the business operations and account management teams. You’ll also work closely with our 3rd party Ad Trafficking partner to ensure that all requests are being implemented correctly and in a timely manner. Specific responsibilities will include scheduling, production and implementation of all online advertising campaigns through our network of media partners; executing campaign optimization decisions, and troubleshooting creative.
Basic Qualifications* Education: BA/BS degree* Overall Experience: 1+ years of experience; some exposure to quantitative analysis* At least 1 year of experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Previous work experience in marketing and/or online media Desired Qualifications* Commitment to developing and following through on creative solutions* Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization* Foster strong cross-functional teamwork and be results driven* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills* Positive, pro-active attitude and work style a must* Experience with flash, JavaScript and 3rd party ad tags a plus* Experience with Doubleclick and other 3rd party ad servers a plus* Interactive agency, web consultancy or behavioral targeting experience a plus* Basic understanding of media metrics and calculations
