DFP Premium - Automated Reporting Options

I’m in need of an automated solution to pull our month end reports on the 1st of each month for 250+ advertisers. I recently migrated from OAS to DFP Premium and I’m not satisfied with DFP’s automated reporting options that are built into the UI. DFP does not include reporting defaults either, this results in a lot of manual work to pull the metrics required by our advertisers. We reference eCPM and CPC internally, but do not provide this information on our reports. Since eCPM and CPC are default reporting options for many reports, I have to deselect those items for each report and select other options that are needed such delivery goal. Does any monster have any vendor recommendations? Any details on vendors previously used (good or bad experiences)? I’ve started a general discussion with Acquisio, they’re requesting roughly 5-7k for development (they’re currently integrated with DFA and not DFP). I also sent a request for a demo with Ad-Juster. Any feedback is welcome and well appreciated.

1st Challenge:
When I pull a (line item --> placement) report, I no longer receive the overall line item CTR. Only the CTR for each placement. Placement CTR is important, but I’m not in the business to manually modify and sum the overall CTR for each report, 250 times. Especially since the majority of advertisers run multiple line items.

2nd Challenge:
You can only add layers to each report, for example (line item --> placement --> creative). You do not have any options to separate these layers so you have three separate reports in one report. I need the general line item information and overall CTR (report 1). The overall placement delivery information for the entire order (report 2) and creative delivery information (report 3). It would take days manually pulling 250 reports three times and then compiling the information for each advertiser while balancing your normal work load.

3rd Challenge:
Chrome lags after pulling 20-30 consecutive reports, I have to close the application and restart it multiple times. Another item that slows us down is page loading delays caused by the pretty graph DFP provides for the metrics you selected. Why is a graph provided in the UI but not within the report? Why is the data presented very neatly in the UI but not within the exported file?

4th Challenge:
If I schedule an automated report, I have no options to prevent the user from receiving an invitation to DFP. I simply want to schedule the reporting metrics that’s required, the time frame and frequency and specify who to send it to.

Thanks!

James,

This is not a very complicated solution for a good ad analytics vendor.
I recommend not paying them an upfront fees but talk to their competitors to get a demo.
We solve this problem and i know others solve it too.
i recommend going with a vendor, which doesnt charge you any upfront fees.

feel free to contact me and we can setup a demo.
