AdMonsters Technical Forum Series
Background
The role of of the ad operations executive used to be, if not simple, at least straightforward. There were the technical issues (can my ad server deliver these impressions?) and the operational ones (is my trafficking team delivering?). As the industry has grown so have the responsibilities of the ad ops department. It is now not uncommon for an advertising operations team at an online media owner or agency to be composed of more than a dozen people with varying responsibilities led by a Senior Director or Vice President of ad operations. These teams often have a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
To name just a few of these:
- Inventory Forecasting
- Mobile & iPhone/iPad advertising
- Yield Management Strategies
- DSPs, RTBs, and ad exchanges
- Rich Media & Ad Technology Specialist
- Behavioral Targeting Implementation
- Challenges of Advertising in User Generated Content (UGC) Environments
- System and Platform Integration
- Video Advertising Operations

The Technical Forums
AdMonsters, as the only professional association exclusively dedicated to improving online advertising operations, is uniquely positioned to deliver a series of technical workshops and forums to address these topics.
Our new "tech forums" will provide a series of targeted forums to explore the complex technical and operational issues surrounding these areas of particular concern to operations teams. As always, the focus will be to determine near term, tactical solutions to the issues, identify key vendors who are addressing the issue, and set best practices around the technology.
Tech Forums are small (25 — 30 attendees) events composed of leaders in online advertising operations. By maintaining a limit on the number of attendees, we feel that we'll be able to make significant progress in the area being explored. The day will be composed of a mixture of short member presentations outlining the key challenges, moderated discussion, networking time, and vendor workshops.
Sponsorship
Very limited sponsorships are available for the technical forums. Please contact us if you'd be interested in discussing sponsoring one of our upcoming technical forums.
