Where Viewability Diverges
With the display standard officially approved and the MRC advisory lifted, publishers are bracing for a slew of viewability-laden RFPs to hit just in time for the fourth quarter of 2014. But just as viewability methodology differs from provider to provider, how viewability is transacted on differs from publisher to publisher. Best practices for a news site may not be the same for a niche information provider or a listing service, but publishers can learn a great deal about viewability from hearing other trials and travails.
